Description

The SunSun CTP-12000 Pond Pump 12000 l/h with 100 Watt is one of the pumps with the highest efficiency on the pond market. Comparing the power consumption of the CTP-Pond-Pump Series with other pond pumps, you will notice that the trend to save energy was correctly identified and implemented. Pond Pumps are always in continuous operation, every Watt savings is a relief for every budget. Sample calculation: 5 watts less consumption mean 43.8 kWh less annually; you know your current price. Streaming / Fountain / Filter pump: In order to prevent an overflow of the pond filter in conjunction with these strong pumps, we recommend using a Y-Adapter. Used as a By pass, an additonal stream can be supplied. You also could use the by pass to operate another clarifier or filter. The capacity of the pond pump must be necessarily adjusted to the size of the pond filter. Any oversized flow rate will result in an overflow of the pond filter which is to be prevented at all costs. Moreover, you should take into account the pond´s circulation cycle as well as the period of time of the pond water in the pond filter. According to the type of usage, the ideal circulation cycle depends on different factors: the fish population, aquatic plants, the quantity of sunlight or the desired water clarity. It goes without saying that, as the case may be, there are further components of the filter circuit that are to be coordinated, if necessary. The following information may serve you as a guideline: Koi pond / Fish pond: • 1 cycle per 3 hours • 2 circulations in 1 hour (without plantings and with large fish population) Garden pond / Plant pond: Regarding a pond without fish, there is less circulation necessary. One circulation in a day can be taken as a guideline in order to enrich the pond water with oxygen and to keep the water in constant movement. Swim pond: In this case the circulation cycle is highly dependent on the planting and the individual claim. The upper limit is to be made at 1 x in 2-3 hours, the lower limit at “no circulation”. Cleaning of the pond pumps: In order to ensure a proper function of the pond pumps it is indispensable to clean them regularly. SunSun has created the housing so that you don’t need any tools to open it (no screws). With just one handgrip, you can pull the pump out of it.

Test Kit

Control Water Hardness with the Aquasol AE511 Kit Hard water contains elevated levels of dissolved calcium and magnesium ions. Over time, these minerals create troublesome scale deposits that damage boilers, ruin household plumbing, and significantly decrease the operational life of reverse osmosis (RO) plants. Effectively managing these parameters requires continuous, reliable monitoring. The Aquasol AE511 Total Hardness Test Kit provides a swift, onsite field testing system that bypasses the need for an external laboratory infrastructure. Why Choose the AE511? High Versatility: The expansive evaluation capability lets you transition effortlessly between low-hardness checks (2–40 PPM) and high-range industrial monitoring (25–500 mg/L).User- Friendly Design: Rapid color-change endpoints provide easily discernable readings. No technical chemistry background or formal laboratory expertise is required to operate it. Industrial & Home Use: Perfectly optimized for monitoring swimming pools, commercial water softeners, aquariums, cooling towers, and everyday drinking water systems. Swimming pool light

Illuminate Your Pool: The Ultimate Guide to Swimming Pool Lights A swimming pool transforms completely after dark. The right underwater lighting does not just help swimmers see, it turns your pool into a glowing centerpiece that draws everyone in. Whether you are building a new pool or upgrading an existing one, choosing the right pool light is one of the most impactful decisions you can make. Why Pool Lighting Matters Good pool lighting extends your swimming hours well beyond sunset. It enhances safety by making the pool floor and walls clearly visible, and it creates an ambiance that no landscaping element alone can match. A softly lit pool glowing in cool white or shifting RGB colors is simply stunning. What to Look for in a Pool Light The first thing to check is the waterproof rating. IP68 is the gold standard for underwater fixtures, meaning the light is fully protected against continuous submersion. Next, consider the body material. Lights built with ABS frames and transparent PC lenses are far more durable than cheaper alternatives. ABS resists impact and corrosion while the anti-glare PC lens distributes light evenly without blinding swimmers. A double layer aluminium PCB board ensures superior heat dissipation, which directly extends the lifespan of the LED chips inside. Wall mounted flat type lights are the most popular installation choice because they sit flush against the pool wall, are easy to service, and throw light across a wide area. Rubber Cable vs PVC Cable: Why It Matters This is a detail many buyers overlook but it makes a significant difference in the long run. PVC cables become brittle over time when exposed to constant water, chlorine, and UV radiation. They can crack at the point where the cable meets the fixture, creating a serious safety hazard in a pool environment. Rubber cables flex without degrading. They maintain their integrity even after years of submersion and chemical exposure. Rubber is also far more resistant to temperature fluctuations, staying pliable in cold water and not softening excessively in warm climates. For a pool light that is always underwater and always dealing with chemicals, a rubber cable is simply the safer and longer lasting choice. Final Thought Investing in a quality pool light with IP68 rating, a sturdy ABS and PC build, long lasting LED chips, and a rubber cable means fewer replacements, lower maintenance costs, and a pool that looks spectacular every night.
